He caught the largest fish of the day, another mackerel, didn't offer to let any of us reel it in and when he got it aboard he threw it back in saying we had already met our limit. He took a call in the middle of the trip, not sure but it didn't sound like business but something personal. That's all he had to do, at least make it seem like he was trying to get us fish. He said he would move in a few minutes and we thought that would be a good idea. We only were catching blue runners we had to throw back and mackerel (not the most desirable fish) and a few mangrove snapper. HE NEVER MOVED, even after we expressed our disappointment in what we were catching. Capt Devin told us there had been a chair but it had broken. My mother-in-law just turned 81 but she was the driving force in going on the excursion and I had checked ahead of booking to see if there was seating on the boat and I was told there was, which yes there was, but no, there was no where to sit while she was fishing. The fishing chair was broken and not available, we had to just stand on the edge and fish. We thought that to be a bit strange and rather cheap considering what we had paid for the trip! 4. We were told there would be water aboard we had three people and there were 2 bottles of water. No mate, for the price we paid we expected more than one guide. Maybe we're not young anymore but we were hoping to have a good time. We are experienced as we have made several fishing trips like this over the years. There were three of us on the 4 hour afternoon private fishing trip. We showed up on time and everything got off to a great start. We were very disappointed by our offshore fishing trip with Capt Devin.
